BollyFit is Fitness through Dance, Fitness that’s Fun!

Do you dream of effective, energizing fitness that’s an experience you look forward to, not dreaded exercise? Check out what students call Workout Amnesia - its so fun, you forget you are sweating! BollyFit classes synthesize artistic elements of high-energy dances from what is commonly referred to as Bollywood dance with classical (eg. Bharat Natyam) and folk (eg. Bhangra) styles in a high-powered cardiovascular exercise. A spiritual thread is seamlessly woven in as participants emanate presence and reduce stress through BollyFit’s conscious choreography (TM).  BollyFit Creator and Olympic Choreographer Anuja Rajendra realizes that being fit, moving to music, and joy are natural states and that BollyFit is one path that illuminates these states in every individual.  And, as one student said, Oomph burns calories! When you are in a space where you can come as you are and dance without inhibitions, you will get a phenomenal physical workout that does not feel like work.  Never danced? Triathlete?  Come be fit, have fun, and illuminate from within!  No dance experience necessary so register now and come shed weight within and without in an welcoming community!  Please read on for current class descriptions. 

How to choose the class that is right for you!
If you are a returning student:
Look first at the class packages offered this term (now with more options to suit your schedule and more chances to save!).  Packages are at the top of the class list and are named Joy, Love, Peace, Illuminate, Breathe, and Bliss. Also check out the many new classes offered this term, including a Wednesday Adult Co-ed Bhangra class and new BollyFit Belly classes, as well as Bhangra for your girls and boys!
If you are a first-time student:
Take a few minutes to peruse the class descriptions at the bottom of this page.  Pick as many classes that interest you; then take a look at the class list to find ones that suit your schedule. Finally, glance at the package options at the top of the class list to save on the cost of registration.  We are excited to offer many new packages and classes this term, including “Bliss” and Bhangra for your girls and boys!

Registration help
To register, first create an account through this website if you have yet to create one.  Go to your email to confirm the account through a link that is automatically sent to you, then return to the website and select the classes you wish to register for.  Sign in, then select “Pay Online with Paypal” or “Pay with Check.” Even if you do not have a Paypal account, it is possible to pay with a credit card - simply select “Pay Online with Paypal” and then select “Pay with Credit Card.” We are happy to help you with any questions or register over the phone.
